ABOUT NOBU

I suffered from allergic rhinitis and asthma from the age of 13, and in my twenties, I struggled with dysautonomia (autonomic nervous system dysfunction).

Discovering acupuncture changed my life—it freed me from allergies and issues with my autonomic nervous system. That experience inspired me to pursue a path in acupuncture.

At the age of 32, I came across the Mitsuishi Theory (Orthomolecular Nutrition), which taught me the deep connection between nutrition and health.
Since then, I have combined acupuncture with nutritional therapy in my practice.
As a result, I have lived a healthy life without needing to see a doctor for over 40 years, and I’m now 73.

In acupuncture, accurate localisation of acupuncture points is essential for effective treatment. After decades of training, I’ve developed the ability to feel the subtle vibrations (or energy signals) emitted by these points with my hands.

This allows me not only to detect responses from the acupuncture points and meridians, but also to pick up signs of internal organ imbalances through reflex points on the body’s surface.

In the last ten years, I’ve also integrated “seitai” (Japanese-style osteopathy) for musculoskeletal issues. Because, I’ve come to realise that the human body has multiple self-regulating systems beyond the meridians—systems modern medicine has yet to fully understand.

Now, I am dedicating the rest of my life to developing the most effective natural therapy by integrating acupuncture, orthomolecular nutrition, and seitai.
