ABOUT NOBU

I suffered from allergic rhinitis and asthma from the age of 13, and in my twenties, I struggled with dysautonomia (autonomic nervous system dysfunction).
Discovering acupuncture changed my life—I experienced significant relief from my allergies and autonomic symptoms. That experience inspired me to pursue a path in acupuncture.

At the age of 32, I came across the Mitsuishi Theory (Orthomolecular Nutrition), which taught me the deep connection between nutrition and overall well-being.
Since then, I have integrated acupuncture with nutritional approaches in my practice.

I have managed my health naturally for over 40 years and have rarely needed medical intervention.
In acupuncture, accurate localisation of acupuncture points is essential for effective treatment. Through years of training, I’ve cultivated sensitivity to subtle changes I perceive around these points.

This allows me to observe responses that I interpret as related to acupuncture points and meridians, and sometimes even signs that may reflect internal imbalances or stress responses through reflex zones on the body’s surface.

In recent years, I’ve also integrated seitai (a form of Japanese-style manual therapy) to address musculoskeletal tension. I’ve come to appreciate that the human body has multiple self-regulating systems—many of which are still not fully understood by modern science.

Now, I’m dedicating the rest of my life to exploring and refining natural therapies that combine acupuncture, orthomolecular nutrition, and manual bodywork.
