The Pressure Sensors
There are pressure sensors within the joints that send information
about the degree of gravitational force as positional data to the brain.
By integrating information from all the joints in the body, the brain determines whether the body is standing upright or leaning.
When information related to gravity is distorted,
the brain may judge that the body is leaning even though it is actually standing straight,
causing the body to try to correct itself.
This means that various parts of the body end up using energy unnecessarily,
potentially leading to functional abnormalities due to structural anomalies.
