Our Approach

Nutrition at a Cellular Level

We need light in order to see, and because light contains ultraviolet rays, the lens of the eye contains high levels of vitamin C, a powerful antioxidant, to protect itself.
Therefore, a deficiency in vitamin C can contribute to the development of cataracts.

It’s common knowledge that a lack of iron can lead to anaemia.
We also believe that a deficiency in protein can cause anaemia, because red blood cells are made from both iron and protein.

We approach many symptoms from a nutrition at a cellular level perspective.

Qi & Meridian

When the flow of Qi is blocked, it can affect not only the muscles and joints but also the function of the internal organs.
On the other hand, a deficiency in Kidney meridian Qi can lead to feelings of fear, while an excess in Liver meridian Qi may cause a tendency towards anger.

The body and mind are closely connected through the flow of Qi, so we work to balance the energy across the 24 meridian pathways.

Seitai Manual Therapy

A suspension bridge maintains its stability through the balanced tension between its pillars and cables.   In a similar way, the skeletal system and muscles rely on balanced muscular tension to function properly.

Musculoskeletal symptoms often arise from a combination of joint structural issues and imbalances in the muscles that work together in movement.
Because the human body is constantly under the influence of gravity, even slight deviations in the centre of gravity can place excessive strain on certain areas, affecting the balance of the entire body.

This occurs independently of nutrition or the flow of Qi, and therefore requires a separate approach.
